Pick of the weekend!
This Saturday is Avengers Saturday! As long as the stars align and the freight gods are appeased I’ll be unpacking Avengers #1 to the shelf on Saturday morning. Avengers #1 marks the start of Marvel’s Heroic Age – following hard on the heals of the conclusion of the epic Siege crossover (I have extra copies of Siege #4 in the same shipment as well!). We’ll have lots of variant covers, free limited edition John Romita Jr prints and other assorted goodies. If you are keen (and what self respecting Marvel fan wouldn’t be?) make sure you check the website Friday evening and I’ll confirm the fickle ways of international freight have delivered the shipment. My back up plan will be to shift Avengers Day to the following Saturday – a nice collision with our Second Chance Free Comic Book Day (see this previous newsletter to see how that works!) .
