I’m still catching up after last week’s avalanche of arrivals – so I’ll cut short my usual meanderings.  Hopefully the rather epic list of recent unpackings detailed below will excuse my brevity!  A quick review reveals our Games and Card stock received the most attention last week. This week is looming as a comic week thanks to two new shipments expected over the next 4 days (plus the 300 odd back issue comics I filed this morning!)  A good time to visit Mk1? Now’s good…

• Future Gazing - Vertigo! The Fables prose novel Peter & Max will be published in paperback in December – along with volume 14 of the regular comic collections Peter & Max: A Fables Novel TP (MR) – comiXology Wildstorm! The Planetary Volume 04 softcover gets a release date – shipping to Mk1 in December! Put Volumes 01 – 04 on your X-mas wish list – fantastic, wonderful & awesome read.. Planetary Book 4: Spacetime Archaeology TP – comiXology .Axe Cop #1 from Dark Horse in December! Created by five year–old Malachai Nicolle and illustrated by his older brother, the cartoonist Ethan Nicolle, Axe Cop Volume 1 collects the entire original run of the hit webcomic that has captured the world’s attention with its insanely imaginative adventures. IDW Acclaimed novelist and Hugo and Nebula award-winning author of The Song of Ice and Fire series, George R.R. Martin, has teamed up with IDW Publishing to release an all-new miniseries, entitled DOORWAYS. Based on his pilot script for a television series that never was, DOORWAYS offers Martin’s science-fiction genius in an initial four-issue series. • RPG specials: I’m making room for lots of new Role Playing Game arrivals. My Buzz feed has pics of what we have on sale: World of Warcraft, Warhammer Fantasy Role Play and White Wolf’s Exalted.
• As of typing last week’s comics have yet to appear (now due Tuesday – here’s the cover gallery!) • Boardgame: I haven’t had Zombietown on shelf for a while… it joins Twilight Creation’s other horror offerings (Zombies!!! and all the Zombies!!! expansions) – available now!  Grass the card game is back on shelf too!
• J. Scott Campbell’s first Fairy Tale Fantasies calendar was a smash hit, selling out in near-record time. This year, he’s back with more ALL-NEW images of some of the most gorgeous and sexy female figures from fairy tales. We’ll see some returning favorites, like The Little Mermaid, and some brand-new friends, like the Princess and the Pea -but each image will be published here for the very first time! • Warhammer Island of Blood hit the shelf last weekend! Mk1 Price $190.00.  The Island of Blood Warhammer boxed game has everything you need to start playing Warhammer, containing two complete armies ready to assemble and put straight on the battlefield. Amongst the two armies you’ll find all the troop types in Warhammer, with infantry, cavalry, monsters, heroes and wizards all represented.
• Flames of War – Brand New and on shelf now: Motorised Rifle Company Mk1 Price $310.00  The panzer division’s Schützen riflemen lead the way when the tanks get held up by bunkers or a river. Following close behind their assault guns and bunker-busting infantry guns, the riflemen storm the enemy positions covered by their mortars and machine-guns.  Restocks of the related release Blitzkrieg the early War Rule Book are back on shelf along with these minis.
• New Warhammer Invasion Card Game expansion: The Fall of Karak Grimaz $29.90 is the second Battle Pack installment of The Enemy Cycle. This 60 card pack contains 20 different never-before-seen cards designed to augment existing decks and add variety to the Warhammer: Invasion metagame.
• Hordes new arrivals Captain Gunnbjorn Trollblood blister pack $29.90, Skorne Nihilators Unit Box Set $85.90, Everblight Spell Martyrs $23.90 (3). • Lots of Trade Paperbacks and Complete Mini series were added to the Back Wall Bargain list last week – including Spiderman and Transformer books – scroll down my Google Buzz postings to view them all.
• Cacophony – Kevin Smith’s Batman tale has arrived on the Mk1 shelf and in the Webstore – along with Invincible volume 13.
• Now due on shelf Tuesday 13th September – the latest comic delivery features True Blood #1 2nd Ptg, 1 For $2: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Daken: Dark Wolverine #1, Dr. Horrible TP,  Ratchet and Clank #1 and the Wolverine: Old Man Logan Trade Paperback!
